Mr. Rahul K C, an accomplished human rights activist, has dedicated his life to eradicating human rights violations in Nepal. Growing up during Nepal’s civil war, he witnessed widespread human rights abuses, which fueled his passion for justice. Discovering Youth for Human Rights International at the age of 12, he began educating citizens on their rights and formed a group to promote human rights education. His grassroots efforts have educated thousands and played a crucial role in ensuring the protection and promotion of human rights. Rahul’s work extends beyond Nepal, as he collaborates with international organizations to advocate for human rights and youth empowerment on a global scale. He has been instrumental in organizing numerous workshops, seminars, and campaigns to raise awareness about human rights issues and empower young people to become active change-makers in their communities. Academically, Rahul holds a Master’s degree in Political Science, which has further equipped him with the knowledge and skills to drive impactful change. He also serves as an advisor to the Sustainable Development Council, contributing his expertise to advance sustainable development goals.
