The International Youth Forum (IYF) is a global platform that empowers young leaders to engage in dialogue, education, and action around human rights, sustainable development, peacebuilding, and social innovation. `

The Forum is open to young leaders, students, youth organization representatives, activists, researchers, social entrepreneurs, and changemakers aged 18–35 from around the world.

Aged above 35 will be a general observer. 

 

You can register through our official website www.intlyouthforum.org . Early registration is recommended as spaces are limited.

 

Participants will gain access to inspiring keynote sessions, interactive workshops, networking opportunities, certificates of participation, and the chance to collaborate on global initiatives.

No, there is no participation fee.

There is a Forum delegate package that covers your conference access, meals, delegate kit, local transportation, and shared accommodation during the Forum. Details are available on the registration page.

Yes, all participants will receive an official E-Certificate of Participation issued by the International Youth Forum and its organizing partners.

The dress code is business casual or national dress. Participants representing their country are encouraged to wear traditional or cultural attire for cultural exchange sessions.

Registration

I am an organization. How many people from my organization may attend?
Up to two colleagues from your organization are welcome to attend.

I am not an IYF member or alumni. Can I still attend?
Absolutely! Non-members and non-alumni are welcome to attend, learn about IYF, and join the conversation about the development ecosystem.
We are also offering former member organizations the opportunity to attend this year’s Global Annual Conference at the member rate. If interested, please contact the IYF Membership Team.

I don’t plan to attend all days of the conference. Can I pay for only certain days?
Registration covers both days of the conference. We are unable to offer single-day registration.

I know someone who could speak at the conference, but they are not a member. Can they attend and speak?
We prioritize member participation. However, if you have a suggested subject matter expert, please reach out to the IYF Event Team.

Myself or my organization wants to have a speaking role at the conference. How can we get involved?
Session submissions for the agenda have closed. However, IYF 5.0 is designed to be highly participatory and discussion-based for all attendees, regardless of having a formal role on the agenda.

Do I get a complimentary pass if I am a speaker?
No, plenary and session speakers are not provided with a complimentary conference pass.

Who is coming to the conference?
When our official networking group launches, you will be able to view a list of attendees and reach out directly to set up meetings and plan your personal forum agenda.
If you are attending for the first time, this is a great way to connect with like-minded participants.

What does my registration cover?
Your registration includes:

  • Attendance at all sessions

  • Lunch and beverages each day
    (Note: It does not cover travel tickets or accommodation beyond the shared option offered.)

When does the forum start and end?
The International Youth Forum 5.0 officially begins at 10:00 AM ICT on Thursday, August 21, 2025, and ends at 5:00 PM ICT on Friday, August 22, 2025.

What does the agenda look like?
The 2025 agenda will include:

  • Human Rights Education: Understanding the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and its relevance today.

  • SDG Integration: How human rights are integral to achieving the SDGs.

  • Youth Leadership: Empowering young people to take leadership roles in their communities.

  • Innovative Solutions: Showcasing new approaches to human rights and SDGs.

  • Global Partnerships: Building bridges between youth organizations, NGOs, and international bodies.

  • Summit of the Future Outcomes: Discussing implications for youth advocacy and global cooperation.

Is there an online component?
The entire forum will be live-streamed but will primarily take place in-person.

Will there be scholarship opportunities for those needing financial support?
Scholarship funds were available for IYF members requiring assistance to attend the conference.
Applications for scholarships are now closed, and all applicants have been notified.

Travel and Lodging

Can I request a roommate during the forum?
Only shared accommodation will be provided to delegates. Final decisions regarding accommodation are solely at the discretion of the organizers.

How do I get to the venue from Suvarnabhumi Airport?

1. Airport Rail Link and BTS Skytrain:

  • Take the Airport Rail Link from the airport (basement level).

  • Get off at Phaya Thai Station.

  • Transfer to the BTS Skytrain (Sukhumvit Line).

  • Get off at Victory Monument Station.

  • From there, take a short taxi/motorbike taxi to the UNCC.

2. Taxi:

  • Available 24/7 from the airport taxi stand.

  • Travel Time: Approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.

3. Private Airport Transfer:

  • Can be booked online or through your hotel.

4. Public Bus:

  • Less convenient; not recommended with luggage or without local knowledge.

5. Ride-Sharing Apps:

  • Apps like Grab are available.

Tips:

  • Bangkok traffic is heavy during rush hours (7–9 AM, 4–7 PM).

  • Toll roads can save time but may incur additional fees.

Visa and Health

I need a visa letter to attend. How can I get one?
Indicate your need during registration and provide passport details. Invitation letters will be issued accordingly.

Do I need a visa to enter Thailand?
Citizens from 93 countries are visa-exempt for stays up to 60 days. Others must apply in advance.
Check your country’s eligibility here.

Do I need vaccinations?
Yellow Fever vaccine is required for travelers from Yellow Fever risk countries (including transits >12 hours).
Please consult your doctor or visit the World Health Organization website for advice.

What is the dress code for the forum?
Formal attire is expected: suits, blazers, formal dresses, etc.
Considering Bangkok’s warm climate in August (28–32°C), wear light, breathable fabrics.

Where can I exchange currency near the hotel?

  • The hotel provides assistance and has an ATM on-site.

  • There is also an ATM nearby.
